My dedication to energy healing was inspired by my own healing, and the healing of those around me.  After many years of pain, exhaustion, and stubbing around with a drunken gait, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis; later Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroidism were added.  My symptoms were so disabling, I was forced into retirement at the grand old age of 45. Then followed years of severe exacerbations, and a roller coaster ride of wheelchairs, walkers, canes and "wall walking", all accompanied by heavy, incapacitating medications; which did little to improve my condition.  In 2001, I suffered a mild stroke, which opened my eyes to the possibility of my early demise from the side-effects of my major conditions!  It was then that I decided to take real responsibility for my health before it was too late.

The first order of business was to stabilize my physical condition.  Although I had eaten a low fat, low animal protein, and complex carbohydrate diet for the past twenty years, I had developed hypercholesteremia, hypertension and hyperinsulinemia - in short I had Syndrome X.  Research led me to Dr. Peter D'Adamo's life changing book, "Eat Right for Your Blood Type".  This new way of eating at least stalled and slowly reversed the physical progress of some of my conditions.  However, it was not enough to restore my health. Once this was under control, I could not stifle my desire to have my life back, and it was this quest, that lead me to energy healing. 

In November 2002, a friend was admitted to hospice to await her transition from cancer.  One memorable visit with her lead to me trying hands on healing ....eight hours later, I was helped from her bedside , exhausted, to spend the next three days in bed recovering....I knew then that I had to find a better to help others.  My search lead me to Reiki, and I knew that energy medicine was the way to achieving wholeness of the individual. In  early 2003 I was attuned up to the  Master/Teacher level in the Usui Ryoho and Seichiem styles.  In less than a year of Reiki healing my health was greatly improved; and I had also shared this healing with  many others. It was then that I decided to dedicate my life to sharing these new gifts of healing with others.  During that time I also became an ordained Minister though The Universal Life Church.

By April, 2004. I had reached a point where, although I was greatly improved, further progress was slow, and I no longer thought a complete return to normal function was possible.  I was grateful for the recovery I had achieved, and had accepted my new "lifestyle". My family and friends were also very impressed with my progress; however, although my health had greatly improved with Reiki, there was still room for significant improvement with various issues. A dear friend, an acclaimed Healer in her own right, attended the "I Can Do It" Conference held in Las Vegas, and attended Dr. Pearls Seminar.  She told me about the new frequencies introduced by Dr. Pearl, and the great healing potential of them.  Excited, I immediately ordered, and read Dr. Pearl's book, "The Reconnection - Heal Others, Heal Yourself".  Following the instructions in the book, I self-attuned and immediately felt the unique energy sensation in my hands. That same week, I gave myself the only Reconnective Healing session I have had to date. The results were, to put it mildly, amazing! I then turned my attention to my daughter's 7 year-old dog, Salsa. She had been on a downward spiral for several months with a severe digestive problem that resulted in a weight loss of 9 of her 29 pounds. Her stools had slowly progressed with the help of parasitic cleanses and twice weekly Reiki sessions, from mainly blood to a soft gooey mess.  We were relieved that she was no longer losing weight, and appeared not to be in great discomfort. I decided that she would be my first objective test of these healing frequencies...after all, I reasoned, dogs cannot demonstrate the placebo effect.  I also did not tell anyone else of my "experiment", and the session (by distance) seemed very powerful.  Two days later my daughter informed me that Salsa had produced solid stool the following evening, and has done so ever since.  Most remarkably, she was running around playing with the energy of a puppy, so much so that her 2 year-old dog-brother hid from her as her play energy was wearing him out!  She soon also regained her lost weight. She did not need another session, and maintained her health and vitality until her transition to the Rainbow Bridge after an accident, in 2006. 

 I was so impressed by these miracle healing frequencies, I immediately made plans to attend the Reconnective Healing seminars, held in New York in August, 2004. There I was personally instructed by Dr. Pearl and I completed Levels 1 and 2 for Reconnective Healing, as well as Level III training in The Reconnection. My subsequent use of Reconnective Healing has proven to be just as remarkable, with many spontaneous healings, as noted in some of the testimonials shared on my site. 



As time went on,however,  I began to notice that a number of my clients were not progressing in their goals of health as expected. .  Through the various modalities I had so far used, they initially had great improvement, but seemed to regress or "lose the healing " after a few months.  I quickly realized that somehow their emotions were not allowing the healings to be permanently accepted and some were actually afraid to get well.   Determined to correct this, I undertook the quest to find a way for these clients to accept and maintain their healings.  After researching many other modalities, my quest eventually led me to Vianna Stibal's ThetaHealing™.   In 2007, I became a certified Theta Healing practitioner, thereby ensuring that my clients would have the greatest opportunity to successfully heal themselves.
